The Stitch Explorer Sampler is a new project starting 25th June 2023 over on the Stitchdoodles Blog. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a written pattern – it is a new sampler that has not even been completed yet. It will be a slow stitching project that I will be completing and you can follow along with me on the blog each week as often or as little as you like using whichever threads you have to hand. The Homestead This pattern was inspired by a cot quilt designed by May Morris in 1900 called 'The Homestead and the Forest'. As soon as I happened upon this beautiful quilt I fell in love with the central design and could not resist creating my own little 'homestead' embroidery.
