Fabulous embroidery. This is a beautiful kit, neatly packed with everything needed. It is more advanced than I expected, but I can enjoy learning as I go along. It is bringing out the childlike spirit in me.

I'm using silk thread and didn't see a reason to use the extra piece of muslin to stabilize my stitching. However, I did cut it into strips and sewed it along the printed fabric's edges providing extra fabric to mount the project in my scroll frame.
Am happily stitching tree trunk and leaves!

This was a lovely project to work on!! I enjoyed every stitch, including learning some new to me techniques. The pattern was well laid out and thorough. My 5 year old loved watching the birds and bugs come to life! Would highly recommend!!

Great gift, could maybe do with some suggestions for colours or stitches as is quite expensive for just fabric printed with patterns. Excited to get started, it will be fab and would make a great crafty gift.
