The tension of this Nurge is unbeatable for fiddly fabrics like silk and a heavy hand. Hoops are such a hassle for tension!

First project for the frame involves a Nicola Jarvis design and her projects are on printed twill fabric so it is fairly thick. I was concerned the Nurge would struggle to hold the fabric but on first run, all was well and the frame is a good size so all the design is displayed as a whole which will be a great help. I shall remove the fabric between working sessions in the usual way but so far, so good.

I've been looking for one of these hoops for a while so glad to finally find one for a reasonable price.
