Year of Doodles, a hand embroidery design template by Stitchdoodles
A PDF Template is basically a pattern design, laid out in an outline format. The pattern template is provided in a PDF for you to download and save to your computer.
This design is specifically hand-drawn for embroidery, allowing you to express your creativity with needle and thread. Our experience guides the sizes available as well as the design elements themselves so you can be assured the design is completely achievable in stitch.
IMPORTANT: This is the Southern Hemisphere version - please go to the standard version for everywhere else.
The Year of Doodles hand embroidery template:
- Is scaled to fit 7” and 8” hoops.
- You will need access to a printer to print your PDF pattern, and then you can transfer the template to your fabric by your chosen method.
No information is given for which stitches to use or colour guides to choose for this particular design. These choices are all up to you which is the exciting part of choosing a template rather than a structured, pre done pattern. Use your own ideas for stitch choices and colours.
In addition to your template, you can access the ‘Getting Started with Templates’ online resource at the Stitchdoodles Studio. This handy resource is full of all the basic information you will need to get stitching. It will guide you on choosing fabric and threads, how to transfer the template as well as the best places to find simple stitch tutorials.
There are also 3 FREE exclusive templates included as well.
You will be purchasing a PDF pattern TEMPLATE for the design shown in the photos. It is for hand embroidery, and is NOT suitable for machine embroidery. You will not receive any physical products as this is a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY. (The product is immediately available so is non-refundable.)
This purchase is for personal use only. It is not to be reproduced in mass for commercial gain. You may not share or sell this digital design.
Main Listing Image: The first image showing the completed hand-stitched design is an AI-assisted visual representation created to illustrate the finished appearance of the project. It is intended as a creative guide only. All stitch guides, colour selections, and written instructions are personally developed and prepared by me.
